Adekemi Omotubora

Adekemi Omotubora is a lawyer and lecturer at the department of Commercial and Industrial Law, University of Lagos. She holds a PhD (in cybersecurity law) from the University of Leeds, UK, and Master of Law (LLM) in cyberlaw from the same University. She has previously studied at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife where she obtained first and master’s degrees in law. Her core specializations are privacy and data protection, cybersecurity and identity management, and regulation of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across use cases. She has consulted for and advised several organizations on privacy and data protection policies and has worked on many funded projects at the intersection of law and technology. She teaches electronic commerce, law and information technology and intellectual property in the digital environment at the University of Lagos. She is widely published and frequently invited to speak at international conferences, workshops, and seminars.
